This national struggle was resolved at the Lausanne Peace Conference. However, as a result of the ongoing dispute over whether the Treaty of Lausanne was a victory or a defeat for Turks many claims were put forward about the treaty.

The First World War was over but the struggle for Anatolia had not yet ended. Local forces rejecting the Treaty of Sevres organised and didn’t allow the Allies to invade Anatolia.
